SharePoint is a cloud-based platform that allows teams to create a document management system to store and collaborate on work within an organization. Excel workbooks can be published via Microsoft SharePoint.

With the SharePoint connector, Datagrid users can:

• Continuously access and ingest Excel files via the Microsoft SharePoint connector.
• Create automations to ingest data on a schedule or source update.
• Create reusable data engineering flows and transform raw SharePoint data into interactive visuals.
• Embed dashboards and reports within Sharepoint to provide access to stakeholders and teams outside of Datagrid.

Configuration Guide

SharePoint can be connected using OAuth or a customer-provisioned Service Application.

Setup time: Less than one minute.

OAuth

When configuring the connection via OAuth, you simply need to accept installing the Datagrid application into your Tenant.

Service Account

A service account allows you to provision an Azure application specifically to support this connection.

Integration Capabilities

Datagrid ingests data from SharePoint via APIs, and we currently support access to three endpoints: Documents, Lists, and Forms. Users can ingest the following file types from SharePoint into Datagrid:
